Is a half-day at Chankanaab worth it?

Hi all,

 

Our ship doesn't get to Cozumel until 11 am, and Chankanaab closes at 4 pm. Is it worth the cost to go for a half-day?

It sort of depends upon how long you wanted to stay at the beach. :confused: With a $20 per person admission fee it is hard to justify, unless you have kids who are big into seeing the dolphin and other shows.

 

For about the same $10+ cab fare you can go to the Money Bar with no admission fee and good snorkeling from the shore. No real beach or pool.

 

For more in taxi fare (about $17 each way) and a $3 admission fee you could go to Paradise Beach - great facilities, nice beach, water toys (extra fee) and a HUGE pool.
