New Camera

Recommended Posts

I finally made a decision and I ended up buying the Olympus OM-D EM 10ii. The touch screen and the in body stabilization is what ended up being the final deciding factor between the Olympus and the Sony. Now I am learning how to use my camera.

Thanks again everyone for their help and input.

Oh darn ........... Jonny come lately

For your type of photography (landscape)

Within your budget ($800)

Top performer is the Nikon 3400 which you can buy for under $500 including a 18-55 and a 70-300. This is until tomorrow night, at B&H

The dynamic range of the Nikon 3400 (released August 2016) is the highest of all cameras mention in this thread. Dynamic range is the key factor for landscape photography.

BTW, I shoot with Canons but within your budget and use, buy the Nikon 3400.

You did what you should have done. You tried them out and got the one that fit you best.

Congrats!

Happy Shooting!
