skrapngal Posted December 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2016 When registering your credit card at online check-in, do you use Royal's conversion or use your bank's? Are there advantages either way? Right now I have checked conversion by bank, but was wondering if one was better.
Ourusualbeach Posted December 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) Use your banks (credit card). It will be a lot cheaper than Royal's fee. Also there are credit cards that do not have a foreign transaction fee. Chase Marriott rewards Visa or Amazon Visa are 2 that have no fees. NLCAPER Posted December 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2016 We are very frequent cruisers and Canadian.... use the banks conversion program it will save you additional cost. Do not use the cruise lines... hey our $ hit .76 tonight might just make it back to the 80's. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums It's sad that we now get excited at the hope of it getting back to the 80 cent range. Kind of like feeling that we are getting a good deal when gas is under $1.
