Midnight Port Arrival

I'm on Voyager at the moment and have just received our cruise compass for tomorrow (Saturday) stating that our Noumea arrival is now at Midnight! We were originally due to arrive at 10am. They are adveristing extra excursions to experience the nightlife for $20. Is this a normal occurrence or a one off for this sailing?
