Elle0613 Posted January 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2017 We are sailing aboard the Disney Dream in November and one of our ports of call is Nassau. There will be 6 of us ranging in ages between 23 and 55. At least 4 of us have previously been to Nassau and have no desire to disembark. Are there any special activities for adults during that time such as wine tasting, etc? If the weather us good, the pool will do nicely, but if the weather is poor, we would like to know our other options. Thanks!☺
Rare Steelers0854 Posted January 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2017 Here is the navigator for the Nassau day from a recent cruise. It's going to have some holiday themed items you won't see but this would give you a general idea http://disneycruiselineblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Personal-Navigators-Wonder-7N-Bahamian-Day-4-Nassau-20161226.pdf
ArthurUSCG Posted January 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2017 You can also try and find a Facebook group for your cruise and see if there is an organized private wine tasting. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

moki'smommy Posted January 8, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2017 The FB group is a great idea if there is one for your cruise. We put together a lot of activities especially on longer cruises (like trans-Atlantic). We did a book swap, a pajama breakfast, a tour of cabins (so people could see different types of cabins), private tastings, a knitting/craft group, etc. As far as ship activities, the beauty of staying on board is so that you can enjoy the ship with no lines/waiting/crowds although in Nassau about half the passengers stay on board or get off very briefly. Palo/Remy brunch, Satellite falls, hang out at the adult pool area, do a tasting event, see a movie, etc.

That did help. I saw a beer tasting and some other activities that looked interesting! As ours is s much shortervcruise, I'm sure that some of the themed offerings will not be offered, like the Pirates Party, but we didn't really stay long when we went the last time. My husband enjoyscvthe bingo, so I know if it's boffered, that's where he will spend his time!
