SS Ariadne

On another site someone was wondering about what happened to a cruise ship SS Ariadne. I took a cruise on this ship way back in 1972 ( my first and hopefully not last cruise ). I was sad to find out she went to the breakers in Tampa, Fl. back in 1997.:(

Sad to hear she was scrapped but then that is par for course nowadays if they cannot send the old ships to P&O Australia.
