San Diego to Hawaii temperatures?

We're sailing to Hawaii from San Diego in February. Can anyone give me an idea of the temperatures to expect at the departure port and on the following sea days?

I live in SD and the current temp is between 50-70. It will only warm up from there.

And as commonly discussed here and on the Hawaii board, it will be cooler and the seas potentially rougher the first day or two going over, and the last day or two coming back from Hawaii. The closer to Hawaii, warmer and smoother.
