Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Had some banging due to windy conditions (balcony dividers aren't tight and move in the wind) but otherwise the room location was quiet.

 

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

 

Balcony View - Overlooks the exposed deck on Deck 5

 

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

 

Was wind a problem? - No

 

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - NA

 

Any specific problems with this cabin? No.  Refrigerator was extremely cold which is a good thing!

 

Any other comments? Every cruise deck plan site I looked at showed this as a cabin with a pulldown however there was none.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

 

 

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – couldn't see straight down to the water, there is a balcony below that sticks out and a deck below that also (Rudi's Sea Grill is on that deck). 

 

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - The balcony was larger than normal but was not sold as "oversized". It was square versus rectangular. Big enough for a couple of loungers (but only had to regular chairs and a table).

 

Was wind a problem? - No it wasn't.

 

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -  NA

 

Any specific problems with this cabin? - None at all

 

Any other comments? -

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

 

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No issues

 

Any other comments? - The balcony door is new and so is the metal balcony railing and floor.  Speaking to others they indicated the same.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – not really. There was a gap all the way around the cabin door, which allowed all the sounds from the hallway to come right on in. Every ding of the elevator as well. 

 

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no

No obstructions, lovely view

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal size

 

Was wind a problem? - no.

Any specific problems with this cabin? - other than the door, no. 

 

Any other comments? - ambulatory accessible cabin, which means there’s a fold-down shower seat.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – mostly. The music from the atrium does reach this cabin, but our sons did not find it bothersome.

Any other comments? - it was comfortable, just be mindful if you are noise-averse and like to go to sleep early.

Stateroom Category – 9A (premium balcony)

Starboard or Port Side - starboard

 

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – it's right next to the elevator but there is no noise. however, you are under the pizza station on the Lido deck, and you will hear the closing down and cleaning up activities. we knew that was the case going in, so the noise didn't bother us. ymmv.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - oversized. this cabin used to be considered a suite, and it has a double length balcony, and is as deep as an extended balcony.

 

Was wind a problem? - no. the Lido deck is right above and extends over the roof of the balcony.

 

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

 

Any specific problems with this cabin? - no

 

Any other comments? - this is a very large balcony cabin, with 2 separate closets. plenty of storage and plenty of room.
