handicap parking

I have never drove to Port Canaveral before, but due to an accident I cant fly & have a hard time walking so now I have handicap plates.Does any one know if handicap parking is free & if the handicap spots are near an elevator

If you're parking at the port, nothing is free. Also, the parking garages are across the street from the terminals.

Our Parking rates are for the length of the cruise and tax is included in the price. Vehicles longer than 20 feet, such as buses or campers will be charged an oversized fee for parking.

DISABLED PARKING spaces are available and the fee is waived for vehicles transporting certain persons who have disabilities that:

•Have special equipment, such as ramps, lifts, foot or hand controls for use by a disabled person;

•Display a Florida Toll Exemption Permit as explained in s. 316.1964, Florida Statutes; and

•Display a Florida Disabled Veteran (DV) license plate issued under s. 320.084; s. 320.0842; or s. 320.0845, Florida Statutes.

 

Parking agents will not grant parking waivers for any other reason than the ones listed above.

 

NOTE: Ship schedules and assigned terminals are subject to change. Please check with your travel agent or cruise line for the latest information on where you will be embarking.

 

There are some parking spaces, near the elevators, but you will need to get their early.

thanks for the infoI dont any of the things that can get me free parking but its goo to know I dont have to walk far.Just in case are there wheel chairs I could use to go from parking to ship ?

I have a question about drop off for handicapped. We plan to drop off my parents, their luggage, wheelchair, and walker then drive to park n cruise.

Is drop off only area marked clearly?
