Beaches near French Harbor/Daniel Johnson's place

We are visiting Roatan in April aboard the NCL Dawn. Number One priority is to visit Daniel Johnson's place. We have booked a tour with him that will take us to his place, snorkeling, lunch, and a beach. We will snorkel from a boat over French Cay. He is recommending Parrot Tree Resort for lunch/beach. I'm not crazy about the idea because it's a man made lagoon but I also understand he is trying to cut down our drive time and crowds.

 

Does anyone have recommendations for lunch and/or beach near French Harbor? Is it best to just go to Parrot Tree or would you recommend the extra drive time? It looks like we are the only ship in port that day.

 

If it helps, we are a family of 4, kids ages 8 and 11. Beach amenities are not a priority. Just beautiful, clear water and a nice sandy spot to relax [emoji267]!

Parrot tree, Little French Key. are both near by. I suggest you ask Daniel for his recs. There are condos and resorts around that have beach access.

Fantasy Island is also near French Harbor.

 

If you like email your tour guide asking for options of beach/day pass resort with in the time frame. That way we are not missing any and can help you make a choice.

 

Hmm, Turquoise Bay may be an option as well.

Danial was amazing! Favorite excursion yet!! We did this with him last year and it was beautiful! We ate lunch steps from the beach and lagoon and just beyond the that was the ocean. The view was breathtaking! Hope this helps!

I'm so happy to hear this and now even more excited for the trip! Did you go to Parrot Bay? How much was lunch (trying to figure out how much cash to bring)?
