Amber Cove

[DBBCSE]

We're sailing on the Conquest on 3/26/17. Husband and 2 adult sons will be doing the ATV's thru Marasol tours in the morning. Long story why I won't be joining them but was wondering what there is to do while they're gone. We have never been to Amber Cove before so we have no idea what's there. I don't want to just stay on ship. Any info would be appreciated.

Also a zip line and slides, unless the 'long story' also takes them off your list. :) The pool area is really nice and large.

Thanks so much. I would love to do the zip line, but I have a pretty bad shoulder injury so don't think I can do that.

 

Is there any kind of shopping around? Not a big shopper but I do like to pick up a little something from each port we visit and maybe a piece of jewelry if not too expensive.

 

I actually do love just hanging out in the sunshine maybe reading a book by the pool. Do they have any bars or servers that will bring you drinks? I am on vacation after all! :o

tons of shops, we found it quite pricy compared to other non manufactured ports

Nice pool. There are servers who will bring you drinks and food at cost. Not bad prices.

That sounds good. Pick up a Christmas ornament which I always do and then just hang out by the pool.

Do they have a swim up bar? And are there lockers to put anything purchased in or should I just go back and put stuff in our cabin?

yes, they have a swim up bar. We were just there about a month ago, we thought it was a great port. We shopped just to see what they had, roamed around and went in the pool and just relaxed! Just a great day!

No beaches near Amber Cove, but the pool area is beautiful and almost makes up for the lack of a beach.
