Included phone calls

We are cruising the breakaway in October. Our package includes phone calls. Have never had that on any of the cruise lines that we traveled. How does it work please? The ships phone, our personal cell phone? I know I could call our TA but I hate the phone. :D Any help would be appreciated.

Outgoing calls from your stateroom's telephone only - while you are on the ship. No, you cannot make those "free" calls on your own cellular devices as those are relayed via satellite and billed by your own cellular provider, has nothing to do with the free offer.

This is useful and saving money, if you setup in advance, a fixed, daily call-in schedule to speak with the office, home-sitter, baby-sitter and pet-sitter, mistress or best friend, etc.

As I understood, this does not include any incoming calls to your stateroom as the calling party from land or other cellular, will be responsible for charges in making the connection to dial the ship.

@mking8288 is right, I just spoke with a customer service rep about this on Saturday. She said to make sure you use only your room phone.
