We are onboard now on an NZ cruise. Highly recommend you choose a cabin that is on the land side of the ship as you sail around. We are in the far south, having just come out if the sounds, and the scenery is lovely. We fluked it having booked the last sky suite available when they had a big promo at the beginning of last year.

If one is chasing Captains Club points then Concierge is worth considering 5 points per night instead of 3 for a balcony

Once you leave the sounds the scenery is just as spectacular but only on one side of the ship ;p
