We exited the show early. We had our fill for the day. We headed for the balcony to enjoy a nice cool breeze. Not sure our room is going to get much use.

 

Is it just me or should RCI start selling just balconies like this? Who needs a room.

I love seating by the window in the Windjammer especially at the aft. Are these window bench only in certain areas? Can't say I have seen them before on other ships as they normally have proper chairs by the window.

You are right I don't think I have seen this in any other WJ on other ships. Our first cruise was on Mariner OTS i don't remember seeing these, but it was our first so probably wasn't looking at details as indo today.

 

Yes these benches lined the glass wall in the aft area of the WJ.

Woke up about 7:30am. Spend the time debating in my head what to do. Hit the balcony, the helipad, the gym or just chill in bed. Here's a few shots from one or more of those activities.

Interesting find when going to the WJ from the gym on deck 12. Is that another bridge, gangway or gang plank.

 

 

Wonder of wonders...they put the smoked salmon out at the WJ. Major points in​ my book. WJ was packed this morning but still not hard to find seats. Although I couldn't get my bench by the window.

 

 

Had my standard fare.

 

 

And then it happended. Aaaaahhhh rain. This will delay our disembarkation.

Rain has subsided. Looks like the Allure crew are having a life boat drill. Strange, instead of getting into the life boat, they disembark, walk and board an already waiting life boat.

Geez. Disembarkation was much easier on my sailing. Only crowds was in Cozumel where they were selling water bottles in the same area, but otherwise walked right off the ship.

Ah, John Bull. Can't tell you how many times I've been in that store. I can almost see the little bench where I sometimes get to take a nap.:rolleyes:

May have to rethink the 1PM arrival for the sailing next month.

 

Later or earlier? While I've cruised 5 times out of Miami, I think 2013 was the last, so I've read about more recent issues. The next time will be at a brand new terminal boarding Symphony. I'll bet I'll be glad I didn't book one of the first couple of cruises out of this terminal.
