Has anyone been on the Brilliance OTS lately?

Recommended Posts

Probably more for kids to do on Indy, but Brilliance has outdoor Windjammer seating, covered Solarium, Park Cafe, pool tables, and a screening room (Indy's is gone).

Is the Screening Room gone?

:(

Also love the Park Cafe, but I am really bearing in mind that Indy is just a better choice for kids.

Happy kids= happy vacation.

Was on the Brilliance Dec/8,2016 March 2nd and March 25th 2017. AS many have already posted it is a really nice ship!. One the 25th the music in the Centrum was great. There are a lot of "older" cruisers on board and probably 60-70% are from Florida. Staff was very friendly. Early last year they wee getting some complaints about cold food and I think took the post seriously and we had no problem. The meat can be a little tough but not bad. Someone mention they didn't like the Monach which is gone. I don't like the Majesty of the Seas out of Port Canaveral. It apparently has a lot fans and is usually fully booked so I guess they we keep awhile longer running the 3 and 4 day trips to Nassau. Talked to Casino Royale, and the agent said they think RCCL is going to add another additional ship over there beside the Majesty and the Oasis. Hope you have a great time.

Considering this ship for a Christmas holiday cruise this year (2017). It's only a 5 night but the prices for that time of year are so high! This one fits into our budget better than most of the other options. I like the 2 stops that it's going to make (Grand Cayman and Cozumel).

We are excited to try Royal Caribbean but wondering if this ship will be disappointing (for us and the kids, too)? Will there be enough to entertain 2 boys ages 11 and 8? Does the ship really seem old? Would love to hear some feedback:)

Thanks!

BR is my favorite Royal ship. Mostly because it's in Tampa half the year, but also because the Radiance Class ships are the best that RCI ever built. Not too big, not too small. It's the "three bears" class.

I was on her in March and she's still looking great. I'm pretty disappointed that I only got on once this season. We've got her Thanksgiving special sailing booked, and hoping to do a few more after that this coming season.

You really can't go wrong cruising on a ship with a revolving bar. I think that's in the constitution somewhere.

Hi hope you don't mind me posting here. I'm at that age where memory lets me down so hopefully someone on here can tell me the name of the bartenders in the diamond lounge, iam sure his name started with a G. I know this is a long shot but fingers crossed 🤞

The bar servers in the Diamond Lounge change almost every cruise.

I just booked Brilliance for Thanksgiving 2018. My 50th falls on Thanksgiving Day & we sailed this cruise on The Radiance 6 years ago for hubby's 50th. I LOVE this class of ships & can't wait to see the Brilliance
