NCTribeFan Posted August 17, 2017 #26 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I don't swim, but I did snorkel once from the beach in Cozumel. Enjoyed it but not something I feel I have to do again. Just don't think it's terribly smart for a non-swimmer to do. But I'll check with my friends to see if they're going to bring their own gear (if they have any). I always pack my water shoes. Must tell them to pack (or buy) some, too! Thanks for the reminder.
Ziggy7 Posted August 17, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 17, 2017 MUST have water shoes! We didn't know a year ago, so I had multiple cuts to my feet from very sharp rocks both on the beach and in the water, and my kid sliced his foot pretty badly. This year all of us are wearng water shoes!I totally agree, while we did not cut our feet, the rocks hurt! If you are using fins, just put them on at the waters edge!
