Can I use a Costco Citi VISA to access Easy Deals

I keep missing out on the AARP gift cards so trying to follow the Citi route. The web site keeps looping me around my account and doesn't say I can't use Easy Deals but also doesn't say I don't have access. Anyone know if this card is eligible?

I don't think it is. You have to have a card that has access to the Easy Deals. If you have a card that is eligible then you log in it will say how many points you have. I have both a Citi Diamond Preferred card (earns the ED points) and an American Airlines card. I can use the AA to buy my gift cards but it's only because I have access to ED with the Diamond Preferred card.

Okay, I guess since the Costco card is a cash back one it won't work. Confusing since the Easy Deal link is at the bottom of my home page...

Yes that is correct. If you have a cc that earns other rewards, it's not eligible for Easy Deals.
