From Monteleone to Cruise port

What's the best way to get from Hotel Monteleone to the Carnival Cruise Port. Is Uber a good option, or any other ideas that might be better? Thanks

There is a cab stand in front of the Monteleone. There is a fixed fare to the terminal: I think it is $8 per person.

 

Uber would also work, but if it is a busy day there may be a surge.

Stayed there several times. Last time 2 weeks ago it is a flat $8.00pp.

A year ago I stayed there. I called down and asked for a cab at a certain time. When I got down there it was maybe a 1 minute wait.
