Liverpool locals--need opinions on running route

I've hired a guide for a running tour while we're in Liverpool, and based on my interest in history, this is the route the guide has created. Could anyone local tell me if this route looks reasonable to see some of the major sites of the city? We'll be running in the morning, and I'll still have the afternoon to explore (although probably not by foot after running 11 miles :p)

Looks a good route. You will go past the Anglican Cathedral, just a pity it doesn't go along Hope Street and you would get to see both Cathedrals.

The Waterfront part along Otterspool promenade will be awesome as long as you have good weather.

 

In the Afternoon why not do one of the Hop-on, Hop-off Bus tours.
