ShipsInBergen Posted May 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2017 This afternoon Queen Elizabeth departed Bergen after a disappointingly (but reliably :p) wet day in town. I took the following photos during her soggy sailaway. The full set is up on my hobby blog: http://shipsinbergen.blogspot.no/2017/05/queen-elizabeth.html I hope these are of interest to some of you here :)
Host Hattie Posted May 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Thanks for the photos, what a shame about the weather. I visited your beautiful town on a much nicer day on Fred Olsen's Braemar in 2010.

BklynBoy8 Posted May 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2017 We loved visiting Bergen while on the Norway Fjord Cruise. What a cute and very beautiful village shops. I still remember the street curb stands selling Fresh Salmon Sandwiches and what a deep pink red color they had.
ShipsInBergen Posted May 26, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Raining in Bergen? So what else is new ;) Hehe! Thanks 'rusty1014' for providing proof that the clouds do occasionally part ;p Here's a photo I took of QM2 a while back...the rare sight of a Cunard ship moored in Bergen with a bit of blue sky :)
