Zipline Roatan

If you are on the Carnival Conquest, there's a zip line directly across from the shopping area at Mahogany Bay where you'll dock. Clip N Zip. No reservations needed. So DH can go before you walk over the hill to catch your LFK shuttle, depending upon what time you have a reservation for, or once you return. Takes about 1/2 hour 45 minutes for them to drive you up to the top and then you zip down. Not the most thrilling of the zip on the island, but great ocean views all the way down. If you're at LFK, which is north east of Mahogany Bay, the next nearest zip lines are down at the west end of the island 30-40 minutes taxi from Mahogany Bay.

South Shore is as good as it gets on the island for zip line and it's within 3 minutes of the best beach on the island. Hire a driver for 40 bucks to take your Husband to South Shore and continue on to take you to say Beachers on West Bay Beach. Tell the driver you want him to pick your Husband up when he's done at South Shore Zip Line and take him to wherever you decided to go on West Bay Beach. And then have him return for the two of you whenever you need to return. (30 minutes to City Center Coxen Hole or 45 minutes to Mahogany Bay) $40.00 bucks is fair as he will have down time to rest or take other fares while you are ziplining and beaching it.

Yes, that's a fair taxi price, especially if OP is docking at Mahogany Bay. And South Shore is a good zip line going from canyon to canyon. However, they will still need to pay for loungers, drinks, food, etc. and the zip line cost. Beachers has a full day package at $45 pp including transportation to and from. That in itself would be cheaper than LFK. The issue would be transportation from Beachers to South Shore and return. Or having the Beachers driver drop DH at South Shore and DH attempt to grab a taxi to Beachers. Which sharing with others on their way to West Bay might be a possibility. Even so, Clip N Zip plus Beachers might be the better way to go cost wise.
