URBER/LYFT OR other form of transfer ?

Arriving Saturday FLL airport 3:30p.m March of 2018 with 4 adults and need transportation to SOBE Hotel. With so many Travelers now using Uber or Lyft, will it be difficult to get either at the airport (long wait)? Also,because this is a bit of a long distance, will there be a problem with accommodating us? And which of the 2 would anyone recommend? Thanks.

Just checked an UberXL, which should work, is $60-80 to Miami.

 

Pickup at FLL is fairly easy, there is a designated spot.

Last April, we used UberXL from FLL airport for 5 of us with each having a check-in luggage. It was not a long wait. Just around 10 minutes after the driver called us to advise of the pickup spot.

You can also get a mini-van/SUV taxi for about the same fare from FLL to SOBE -- just grab the first one in the cab line.
