Hotels in Frankfurt Germany near airport.

We have a 7:00am flight on a Sunday in May of 2018, from Frankfurt , any suggestion on hotels close to the airport?

There are several hotels within the airport, including a Hilton and a Hampton. We have stayed at the Hilton. Nice place.

Also stayed at and liked the Hilton-it connects to the terminals.

Hotels connected to the airport are Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn (next door to Hilton), and Sheraton.

We have twice stayed at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel, 1 km from the Frankfurt Airport. Steigenberger is a German-based hotel chain with hotels throughout much of Europe. Rooms are well-appointed and good rates were available for our stay - we were able to upgrade to a junior suite - highly recommended. Hotel Steigenberger offers a convenient airport shuttle, which we used on both occasions.

I particularly enjoyed the hotel restaurant (Restaurant Unterschweinsteige) located in a separate and historic building on hotel grounds. It has a varied menu and prices, excellent service, and the ambiance of a traditional German forester's lodge.

The Steigenberger is a nice change from the usual Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott airport hotels.

We have stayed at the Steigenberger several times also and share the recommendation of the restaurant. IMO, this is the best off-airport hotel, close and with a frequent shuttle ( a real bus with lots of room for luggage, not the little vans some hotels have).
