Question on Staggered Check-In

We are traveling with my parents (in their 70s), leaving from NOLA on the Dream this Sunday. We are platinum so we received a check-in time of 10-10:30 am but my parents check-in time is 2-2:30 pm. Will they allow them to check in when we do, or will we all have to wait for their later check-in time?

They will need to check in at their time unless they have FTTF or are taking a Carnival transfer.

Absent having some sort of priority embarkation of their own, no.

You can board and then wait for them, or you can all arrive at their time and board together.

 

There's one other way, but I won't mention it since I think it's usually dishonest.
