HELENPSL Posted October 29, 2017 #28 Share Posted October 29, 2017 When traveling we like to put prescription medications in those pill containers - compartments for each day or time of day - It makes taking meds SO much easier. However, when going through Customs would that be unwise? Do we need to keep them in their original bottles? Is there a 'rule' on this? As others have said should be no problem in the US. If you’re going overseas it’s another story. We had to fill out a form from the Health Services dept. in Singapore. Also needed to attach a letter from his Dr. explaining dosage, number used daily, why he was taking it, etc. Medication had to be in the original bottle. This was for a prescribed narcotic for pain.
