Aft Facing Balcony on the Epic

Is an aft facing balcony decks 8 or 9 better than a regular balcony. We have only ever had regular balcony and found the aft balconies available, just wondering if it was better and worth the extra few bucks.

In my opinion, yes, the AFT balcony is definitely worth the $$. The balcony is so much larger than the regular and you can put a couple of loungers. So very relaxing.

We heard and felt so many vibrations from the Epic aft. You don’t feel the vibrations so much on the newer ships them. Other than that you will have a great view. I agree with BlueJai, it’s still worth it!

We have stayed on deck 12 aft twice in epic. We love the loungers on the balcony. You can feel slight vibration when pulling into port but not enough to stop us from booking an aft balcony. Upcoming cruise we booked a suite and I am so excited but I will miss those loungers on the balcony.

Thanks for the input, my wife just booked the aft balcony for mid December. We were on the EPIC a few years ago and had a great time, looking forward to try the aft balcony.

We found the balconies are bigger however it was a long walk to the staircase and all those extra steps makes more desert
