Micahs Grandad Posted September 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2017 These days most of our Carnival cruises have been longer 14-15 days. For example just back from an excellent 14 day Journey cruise on the Miracle. Noticed that the flyons (not including comedians) were the same as on the last three long cruises. For example same hypnotist, juggler, ventriloquist, western rope act and vocalist doing pretty much the same exact act we have now seen numerous times. Asked the CD about this and it seems that the only time Carnival brings on flyons is on the longer cruises. As a result when playlist shows are ones we have seen before (and 3 of 4 were repeats) rather boring in the main lounge. Will suggest on comment email about to Carnival that they at least ask the flyons to change their act but entertainment is getting rather boring. SadieN Posted September 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2017 We've discussed this onboard. On our October '16 Hawaii cruise we had some repeat flying but not all were repeats. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Rosefloater Posted September 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 23, 2017 Do you remember his name? John Cassidy. The only 2 repeats for us were the ventriloquist and the hypnotist. Haven't seen the ventriloquist in a few years. Walked out of the hypnotist after 10 minutes. Took that long for mom to remember that she didn't like him the first time we saw him. Thanks for the info. I think the rope guy might have been on the Hawaii run 2 1/2 years ago. If not saw him just after on Pride and again shortly thereafter. Have also seen the two production singers on same two cruises as well. Wish they would at least make them update their acts. Cannot use the excuse that the band has to learn the songs as they use tapes anyway.
