brucedodge Posted October 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2017 In the early years Azamara always had a duo (or trio) on board to provide ballroom dance music at night. Of course they also had a harpist to add elegance as well. First the harpist was let go :(, and then about 2012 they stopped having the duos :( and went to just a guitarist playing at night in the Looking Glass. Despite loving the Azamara experience, that's when we stopped cruising Azamara, and when we went to cruise lines that had better ballroom dance opportunities. So my question is: what's the ballroom dance music like in the Looking Glass these days? Thanks, Bruce

Thanks, Bruce There is little or none, unless on a longer cruise when they might schedule the orchestra up there for a dancing hour. However they do offer ballroom dancing between the production shows (so those at both shows can take part) with the orchestra playing, Although we do not (change that to cannot) dance, we love to go and watch other couples doing so. It is lovely to see.
