Poohb Posted October 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Is the 'sandbar' for the stingrays all sand? Is it at all rocky, filled with shells? Is there a possibility of injuring feet? Are water shoes advised? These questions are due to a medical issue. TIA
DomsPaPa Posted October 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2017 I don't remember any rocks but there were a few small shells. If there is a medical concern of injuring feet than I suggest you wear water shoes just to be safe. Your feet could be stepped on by others and they'll make climbing up and down the boats ladder into/out of the water easier/safer. You'll love the stingrays at the Caymans! bookbabe Posted October 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2017 No water shoes or footwear of any kind is permitted at Stingray City Sandbar. You could injure the stingrays even with water shoes. It's all sand, so no footwear is needed.

Lady Patriot Posted November 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2017 There are plenty of YouTube videos of Stingray City, you might want to check those out.
