We will be on an Australia/New Zealand cruise in December and would like to have an Ultimate Balcony Dinner. I am trying to decide whether to purchase this in advance for 100USD or whether to wait and purchase as soon as we get onboard. Does anyone know what Princess charges for the Balcony Dinner in AUD?

Not personally...right now the exchange is $100 USD equals 126 AUD.

Hi Brooke.

We are Aussies and paid in Aussie dollars last year on the golden and we are pretty sure it was $110.00 aud dollars. By the way it was superb. Make sure you eat very little during the day as the whole experience is huge.

Thanks so much, that does help! Given this information, we will wait until we board and book as soon as we get to our cabin as that is a better deal than paying in USD.

 

We have done a few balcony dinners in the past and absolutely love the experience and the food. This time we are hoping that we can get it scheduled for Christmas and we will have my parents join us for a nice intimate holiday meal. The balcony dinner will be a first for them and they don't seem to realize just how excited they should be;)
