Try it with the Bearnaise sauce. I like a flat iron it has a bigger flavour then a filet, also we have a mouth and teeth so we can chew stuff like a big cut of steak. I'm looking forward to it on my next cruse.

I agree: I always ask for it with Bearnaise. When the flat iron steak was first offered it was not cut properly and was tough. After a couple of cruises it improved and now it is usually a decent cut. I'm a "real" gluten free, and while Carnival does a great job of accommodating me with the menu, though there are some nights when the flat iron is the only option and I gladly take it.

With the new steakhouse menu the Wagyu option is a flat iron cut. I'm not sure if I'll try it next week or not. I probably will just to see.

Take care,

Mike
