Has anyone gone to the Blue Lagoon to swim witht he Dolphins recently??

Is it still open? Can we arrange this tour on our own?

Last I read (on this board) Atlantis was in the process of putting them out of business so they could have a monopoly when their own dolphin encounter opens in a few months. In the harbour, of all places. I think I'd look into doing a dolphin encounter somewhere else. :(

We did Blue Lagoon Aug. of 2004 and it was fantastic. We were at Atlantis again this past August and heard about their plans for their own dolphin encounter. This is such a shame. Blue Lagoon has been around for many years and their friendliness and care for these animals is fantastic. Personally, we've realized that we stayed at Atlantis for the second and last time. It's already over-crowded and they're making it larger. When you have to walk around for 15-20 minutes to find 3 chairs at one of their many pools, it's NO VACATION!

Good Luck!
