Least steep route from the port up to el morro?

So we're thinking of walking up to the fort del Morro when our ship docks at 3:30pm an wondering which streets are the least steep?

I don't have an answer on which ones are less steep, but have you thought about taking the free trolley? Then you wouldn't have to worry about walking up steep streets. I will say, though, we walked it a couple years ago when our kids were 8 and 3 and it was okay.

We will take the trolley if it's still running at that point (heard it stops at 6pm on Mondays) on the way back down. Considering our late stop time and sunset time we'll skip the wait an walk up but ride down if possible.

You might find this interesting, Uma. It's the route DW and I will take to get to the gate. I think there is a trolley along that route as well.

Take a taxi to El Morrow then enjoy the walk back to the pier.
