I was there last year for the second time and took a two hour Segway tour which ended up almost 3 hours. It was fabulous. Even if you never rode a Segway before you can master it in about 10 minutes. The tour went also to Saint Barbara Castle so there is no need to go there by yourself unless you are really into old castles and forts, and then you could spent at least 3-4 hours just there. It is our favorite city in Spain

You can catch the hop-on hop-off bus near the cruise terminal and enjoy a good overview of the city. Make sure to hop-off at the castle, take a stroll through the old town and spend a little time at the beach. You'll love it!

We went to the Santa Barbara castle in the morning, walked the promenade and then went back to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon we went to the beach. We are not usually beach people but it was too gorgeous to pass up.
