Hi, Looking to have a beach day with our son, who is one. Something with a gentle slope into the water and plenty of shade (we don't mind renting an umbrella) ideally not too far from port. Thank you in advance!

Long Bay, ideal for children, but arrive early to pick your spot under trees. Gentle beach. Beds and umbrellas for rent.

Short ride from the pier.

Private taxi about US$25.00 each way.

There are "shared" shuttle buses available at the port with the fare thought to be in the region of US$8.00 per adult each way, with children free.
