St. Maarten after Irma

Hi,

We visiting St. Maarten on Feb 1, 2018. I was wonder if anyone has cruised to this port since the devastating hurricane? Is it safe? (water, electricity etc). Would we be better off to just remain on the ship?

There have been some posts on the St. Maarten Ports Of Call from people who have recently visited there so I would post there.

Friends of ours just returned from a cruise which included this port and said they were pleasantly surprised to see how good things looked.
