PH8 Posted January 9, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 9, 2018 Question about the cabins........what do they supply as far as toiletries??
TexasCigarGuy Posted January 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2018 (edited) Question about the cabins........what do they supply as far as toiletries?? Bar of soap and tube of body lotion on the sink, along with a liquid hand soap dispenser. Shampoo and Body Wash dispensers in the shower. The bottled soda vending machine sat completely empty the entire transatlantic cruise this past November. A crew member said he thought they gave up on it as nobody was buying any. The coffee machine in the lounge must be exceptional as it seemed all the ship's officers were coming in to use it! Deb and Jack Posted January 9, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2018 The coffee machine in the studio lounge is the best coffee and included. It's not a specialty latte but not the watered down regular coffee in the mdr or buffet Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Forums mobile app

Sauer-kraut Posted January 9, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 9, 2018 The coffee machine is the same kind that is used in the Atrium coffee bar that charges for coffees. BEST PERK EVER for the Studio Cabins!!

PH8 Posted January 11, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted January 11, 2018 No one there?? How about ,at night, for the drinks?? Or do you think most venture out to where the action is in the rest of the ship??
starflyte1 Posted January 11, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 11, 2018 When the bar was open, there would be between 10 and maybe 30 people there, many waiting to go to group dinner. Over Thanksgiving and Christmas, people would stop into the lounge for the treats, but rarely anyone lounged there. You might run across someone who stopped in for refreshments. The lounge was still a nice "perk".
sail_ORN Posted January 11, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 11, 2018 It seemed to me that the lounge was used more as a pass through when coming and going, except when the bar was open. Then it was quite busy, with a lot of chatting and mingling. I think it's a great feature.
Mafe Posted January 11, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 11, 2018 The bottled soda vending machine sat completely empty the entire transatlantic cruise this past November. A crew member said he thought they gave up on it as nobody was buying any. Last July, the vending machine in the studio lounge was also empty, but there is another one in a „vending machine room“ on the 10th floor in the middle of the studio cabines. You can pay with your room card.
