What can I bring on the ship during embarkation?

Just make sure it is in checked luggage if you travel by plane before your cruise. I had mine taken from me because I forgot it was in my hand luggage.

In early January this year, on Celebrity, we took aboard two bottles of wine, a case of water, and three 12-packs of soda. Taped our stateroom tags on the water and sodas, sent them with our luggage, and they were delivered to our stateroom. Later than the luggage, but delivered.

But that's Celebrity. RCI's rules are different (unfortunately). You might get away with it and you might not with RCI.
