wanderlustsea Posted January 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Hello! My husband and I are counting down the days until we leave for our Buenos Aires cruise next month! I was curious how boarding works when you have an overnight stay in the port. The previous cruises we have been on have all left the same day as boarding, so I don't know if this is different. Do we have to show up at noon embarkation time? Can we go later and try to avoid everyone getting on the boat at the same time? Thank you in advance! Also, thanks to everyone on the Mariner posting about their trip. I'm loving reading the posts and can't wait to board!
mrlevin Posted January 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2018 You can get on anytime you want; muster drill is next day. We boarded in Venice and then had overnight; it was fantastic. That first night they announced that all should get a mask in Venice as we would have masked party on that first formal night (this was back a few years). We will be getting off in BA (we also have an overnight). I hope they have a resupply in BA as we plan to drink the ship dry. Marc
wanderlustsea Posted January 18, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Thanks for the quick reply! If that's the case, I hope they resupply as well with some amazing Argentinian wine. And if not.... Mind leaving us a bottle of bourbon?!?! :D
