Ah ok...very good to hear. Thanks for explaining. Many say that they leave at intermission so wasn't sure if "everyone" actually left. Feel bad for the actors. It still must be great seeing the dancers and costumes.

Thanks! I think if you knew the story beforehand you would enjoy it much more, I just loved the amazing costumes and makeup! Our muster drill captain was one of the dancers from cats, but the makeup is so great I couldn’t decide which character she was.

Thanks for the info. We have 2 oasis this year and noticed that on Compasses a couple weeks ago so changed my My Time to be compatible with show times. Bob

 

 

 

I don’t think the new times are working that well, many people arrived late for the early seating, and most of that seating seemed to continue past 7:30, leaving a long lineup of hungry passengers waiting to get in for the late seating....

You could still see some damage from the hurricane even in old San Juan, there were buildings that had been completely gutted in the inside. So sad, such absolutely beautiful architecture...

Every time we go to Puerto Rico I seem to buy a purse, and this time was no exception, LOL! Here is a pic with our friend that I always seem to go to, he’s such a nice guy, and remembers you even when it’s been a year or two!

It’s lobster night in the MDR! Although it’s my husbands favourite night, unfortunately I don’t like lobster - that’s why they also serve prime rib, for, you know, us non lobster lovers!

 

It was also the 70’s dance party on the promenade, such fun!!

Friday, and Labadee Day!

I don’t have too many pictures from Labadee, we just relaxed in the sun while the guys went off parasailing and then zip lining.

 

I was up early before we ported and went down to the promenade to grab a coffee, on my way there I decided to go once around the walking track. Beautiful view at the back of the ship.

 

Saw several of these during my walk - Happy we never had to use them!

I must have missed a day with the towel animals, I completely forgot that this little stowaway showed up one night in our cabin wearing my DH’s hat, drinking from my cup, and watching our TV - the nerve!

The next day we told Abdul that he had moved to our couch and taken a different glass....

I quite enjoyed the ride in to work this morning, the roads were actually quite light on traffic.

 

We really liked the Allure a few years back, so I'm sure we'll enjoy the Oasis and the minor differences between both.
