Princess Gift Card question

Is there any way to redeem Princess Gift card on the Cruise Personalizer before boarding? I cant figure it out.

I called Princess and rep said I can pay for services or goods, but cant use towards cruise credits. Fair enough, but there is still no gift card payment option.

Did anyone successfully pay for lets say excursion with princess gift card?

i called Princess and used gift card's amount as a part of payment for the cruise fare.

if you call Princess again, ask if you can pay for excursion over the phone with it (there is no option available to pay with it on website)

Once onboard simply go to the customer desk with your gift cert, and they'll credit your account with gift cert $ amount.

After that, the credit can be used for any onboard charges, shore excursions , purchases, even to off set your casino charges on your account

 

Once it's credited it's just like a cash deposit to your account, and any balance at the end of the cruise is fully refundable
