sailing to Greece this April on the Aegean Odyssey.

Does anyone know if this ship is noisy. Current cabin

#409 inside forward and if this far forward might cause

Sea sickness. Thanks

I've been on Aegean Odyssey a number of times. Not quite as far forward as you but I think I was in cabin 430 or thereabouts one time, for comparison...

 

The ship is small; for her size she rides the waves okay, but there is some movement. If you are prone to seasickness, it's likely that it would affect you in any area of the ship.

 

As to noise, what kind of noise is bothersome to you? External noise is not something that has been a problem for me on past cruises but one can sometimes hear a loud television (or toilet) next door.

Thank you very much for your speedy answer. The noises that would

drive me crazy are as an example, on Minerva, our room was next

to the funnel and it was VERY noisy. Also a/c rattling all night would

be a problem. We are new to cruising, only Minerva and a Saga ship

years ago, like it though. We are 70 and in good shape. Thanks again

I was on Minerva on a Swan Hellenic cruise a few years back -- she was (is) a lovely ship but definitely had some issues with noise and vibrations. I have not experienced the same on Aegean Odyssey, although her exterior is less pretty.
