Question regarding "free cruise" after 250 days

We are interested in booking the 24 day Route of the Vikings II, departing Reykjavik, August 2019. By this date we will have over 250 days BUT don't currently. If we were to book now, would some later discount apply once we have clocked up the 250 days?

Probably not, unless you cancelled and rebooked at the prevailing rates at that time. The only exception I’m aware of is if you book onboard during the cruise you’ll hit 240.

Hmmmm! Thanks Kevnzworld, because we like the idea of this itinerary so much, we are feeling the urge to book sooner rather than later, but aren't sure we'll live long enough to ever claim our free cruise!

We asked Seabourn that same question a few weeks ago and were told that we could book now and have the Milestone Cruise Award credit applied to the booking once it had been earned. You might want to confirm directly with them before booking - just to double check.
