sc4125 Posted February 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Does CCL always use the same pier (San Miguel) in Cozumel? I will be on the Miracle next week and we will be in Cozumel on Thursday, 2/22 with 5 other ships!! Just trying to figure out where we will dock so that we can make plans. I have been to Cozumel many times & just want to get off the ship, walk around and grab a drink. Anyone know?
eastoftheboston Posted February 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2018 According to http://www.cruiseportinsider.com/cozumelschedule2018.html, You'll be at Puerta Maya.
ladiibug Posted February 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2018 When I’ve sailed Carnival, we’ve always docked at Puerta Maya in Cozumel. On RC, we’ve docked at Punta Lagosta or the International Pier. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

loanshark Posted February 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Carnival owns Puerta Maya, which is the Southernmost of the 3 piers, and can hold 3 ships. Most of the time, if you are on a Carnival ship, or one of the CCL brands (Holland America, Princess, etc...) you will dock at Puerto Maya. If there are 4 or more CCL ships in port, at least one will dock at Puerta Langosta (downtown) Also, sometimes the posted schedules are incorrect. For example, we arrived one time on the Elation at Puerta Langosta, even though the schedule said Puerta Maya. (i.e. Carnival moved one of their other ships that was scheduled for Puerta Langosta to Puerta Maya). Either pier will have bars nearby where you can grab a drink. HawkIVette Posted February 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2018 According to http://www.cruiseportinsider.com/cozumelschedule2018.html, You'll be at Puerta Maya. And if you want to go downtown San Miguel, just grab a taxi outside the port. A taxi is a flat $8 US for up to 4 people each way. Slightly more for more people (but about $2 US each). SongBird531 Posted February 13, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2018 I just got off the Miracle and we docked at Puerta Maya We got off the pier, took a left and walked about a mile (ish) and found a great little open air bar called Sunset Restaurant and Bar. We had a few local beers and some great guacamole. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Tiger0613 Posted February 13, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2018 I was on the Triumph on the 1/20/18 sailing. Due to circling one spot a few hours north of Cancun for 12 hours, Progreso was canceled and we stayed overnight in Cozumel. We were there for 23 hours, and we were docked at the International Pier.
