Costa Maya - Beaches? Stay at port?

I don't know which beach you want to go to, but if you take the shuttle ($2 or $3 pp) which is quite a ways to town, and ask where the Man icon is, they will tell you where to get off. You walk one block left of the shuttle, and the beach goes for at least 6 - 10 blocks along the Man icon.

All I can tell you is that the shuttle (March 31st - April 7th) on the 5th or 6th I believe was $3 pp when we were there. We were "told" the Taxi ride back from the Mal-icon was $8.00 When we got in, we ASK what the price was back to the main port, and the man said $4. So maybe the one that told us the $8, meant for both of us, I don't know.
