Soda Package?

On the web site where it tells about the beverage packages it says you get a souvenir mug, is that something new? Do you get a mug with the soda package? I have cruised Norwegian 4 times and they have never given a mug. On my first cruise on Royal Caribbean they did and it was really nice so I am hoping that Norwegian does give them now. Has anyone cruised lately and bought the Soda package? Did you get a mug? If so I won't pack mine.

It is the equivalent of a coffee travel cup; approximately 10oz I believe. Nice enough cups, and yes yours to keep, and it is not required when ordering a soda.

Thanks, ever since my first cruise on NCL I have brought a water bottle with me to have something that doesnt spill so easily while walking around the ship.

When cruising on the newer ships and I have the soda package, I just show my card at the Atrium bar and ask for one of the souvenir mugs.

If you pay before the cruise you have to go ask for one but they have them all around the ship. If you purchase it onboard then they will give you the cup when you sign up.

My cups have always been left in my stateroom when we arrive; it's been just over a year since we have sailed NCL, so maybe this policy has changed... we'll see in a few weeks!
