short cruise

Has anyone living up North- New York area ever done a 3 or 4 night cruise to the Caribbean just to get away for a few days out of the snow? Is it worth it to fly to Florida for a short cruise in between other longer vacations? Not looking to spend alot of money!

I don't think it's worth the airfare, to be honest. And be aware that 3-4 nighters are 'party" cruises....at least 80% of the passengers will be trying to fit a weeks worth of "fun" into a few nights.

 

If you lived within a couple hours drive of your port, then it's a great "get-away"....but to purchase airfare and the attendant hassles...not worth it, IMO.

If you can get decent airfare & spend a few days in Florida before the cruise it's definitely worth it. Have done this before.
