jonyboy Posted March 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2018 I understand the only time you can bring wine aboard with HAL is embarkation. We are cruising from Seward. Any suggestions for a place to purchase near the terminal?
RuthC Posted March 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2018 You are allowed to bring wine on board at both embarkation, and at every port. If you wish to bring one per adult without paying corkage, however, that bottle can only be brought on at embarkation.

Point taken, however I'm sure we will not bring on more than 2 bottles for the cruise and assume someone near the terminal will be ready to sell to folks before they board
scotlandyard1985 Posted March 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Our you arriving in Anchorage? If...how do you go from Anchorage to Seward. Because i think their are more optiosn in Anchorage and if you have a car it will be very easy. In Seward: Gateway Liquor & Food Mart close to the cruiseterminal ( looks small)

In Seward: Gateway Liquor & Food Mart close to the cruiseterminal ( looks small) We fly into Anchorage then train to Denali, motorcoach to Seward and board there. Don't want to carry all over so would like to buy in Seward. Thanks for the Gateway tip

Thanks for the Gateway tip When the motor coach stops in Wasilla for lunch there is a convenience store next door that has a very good wine selection. That met our needs nicely.
