jstewie23 Posted March 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Looking for recommendations for Halibut fishing in ISP. Will be on Royal in early July. Cruise line offers an excursion for this. Has anyone done it? Anyone have independent tour operator recommendations? I will have two kids with me ages 13 and 10, so I know that eliminates some of the potential options. Any info would be great!

AKStafford Posted March 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Thanks! Have you used any of these? I haven't... I grew up in Hoonah and hung out with a lot of Skaflestads growing up. So I'd be pretty confident in going with Teckk.

rocklinmom Posted March 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2018 My brother in law did this excursion through Princess last summer. He caught a huge halibut and as part of the excursion the Princess kitchen cooked and served it to us that night in the dining room. He still talks about it. It was well worth the money. GTFO_Lounge Posted May 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2018 For our June cruise, we booked with HookedAdventures. I sent a few messages via their Facebook page, and they were very responsive. I think their price was about $100 cheaper than the cruise fare.
