k8ti Posted March 26, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2018 It is good that they are thinking that some people want to have a different holiday. I have never been disturbed by children on a cruise but son 2 who is a teacher did say he would enjoy a chilled out week without children.
Rare dronnygirl Posted March 26, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2018 I like the idea of some adult only cruises - don't get me wrong we have grand children but they would never be allowed to run riot anywhere, whereas some people don't seem to keep their kids under control. With regards to all ships being AI, not so sure about this. We aren't big drinkers so would be paying more than usual no doubt. Also I have concerns for poor countries including the Caribbean islands - we always have snacks/drinks ashore in the local bars but I feel that many people will only drink on the ships and this could affect the locals who depend on us
davecttr Posted March 26, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2018 As long as the fleet wide AI is as good as the one on Discovery it will be fine. I don't drink much anymore but the AI will not stop me cruising with Marella.
